Nawwwwwwww.......the **real** evil is a mean dwarf.

Meh.....it's new content. And grind.
EotN is a completely different storyline. Anet chose to link the storys in Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall and made Abaddon the big bad boss for that story. The Great Destroyer is a completely different bad guy and isn't involved with the first three games at all other than the fact that his story takes place in the same world.

The Great Destroyer is a new threat. He isn't any more or less evil or sinister than Abaddon, so you don't need to call him "The Real Evil".

It was sarcasm man. I do see his point though... ok, Killed a rouge god... cool. Now for somthing... harder..? what?

Keep in mind that character development is always about taking on harder and harder challenges, not easier ones that pale in comparison to ones already experienced.

Oh this is related to GWEN? I was all excited, I thought the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were coming. I mean ooze, rats, earthquakes - it all fit so well.

Maybe the great destroyer is like the God's big bad daddy like Chronus?
Or maybe with the northern feel of this more akin to Ragnarok

From Guildwiki.

So the earthquakes will rip the earth apart and yes we have to go help. Just like Fenix said.
You forgot the fourth storyline...an extension of the second storyline...the part where we must go to the doctor for our carpal tunnel (or other repetetive stress disorder) from grinding PvE-only skills.
